Where I’m Networking in July

I’m kicking off July with a trip down to Birmingham for the Entrepreneurs Circle pre event networking evening on Sunday 1st July. So really getting this month’s networking off to a head start. At the event today Nigel Botterill is sharing his 3 future trends for marketing. One of those trends is that conversation is becoming the new lead generation. Conversation is one of the reasons why I attend so many networking events – because it enables me to have interesting conversations with people. Meeting people face to face shrinks the distance and gets me closer to my potential customers in a way that can’t be done online, even with live videos and community groups with strong relationships, for me there is no better way to connect than in person. So if you’d like to meet up and have an interesting conversation this is where you can find me this month.

The beginning of the month is quiet for me until the 17th…

Yorkshire Leading Ladies – Tuesday 17th July – we are taking a trip out to 3 Hagges Wood so we won’t be at the Regen Centre this month. To join us on our outing check the Facebook Page for details and book your ticket for just £10.

The Wedding Guide Network at Wareham Percy on Wednesday 18th July is a networking meeting for suppliers in the wedding industry and rotates around wedding venues in North Yorkshire. Percy and I are both looking forward to a trip out to Wareham Percy!

Give Back Works networking at Manor Academy on Tuesday 24th July, If you would like to attend a Give Back Works meeting as my guest please get in touch. This is a friendly networking group with structured round the table networking as well as the opportunity for open networking mingling

Networking Every Wednesday at the Natural Entrepreneurs Workspace is on every Wednesday throughout July 10am-12pm. I intend to be there on Wednesday 18th and 25th July. Your first networking meeting is free – simply book your place on Eventbrite.

Unfortunately I won’t be at Give Back Works lunchtime meeting on Wednesday 11th July or York Women Mean Business on Monday 9th July.

Other networking meetings towards the end of the month include Thorpe Businesses Get Social at Ainsty Ales on Thursday 26th and Selby Enterprise Café on Monday 30th July.
